    Post Secondary Information Night

    Fifteen BC universities and colleges will be in attendance at a free public Post-Secondary Information Night event on Thursday, November 15th starting at 7 pm at the Henry Grube Education Centre in Kamloops. The event is being held in collaboration with Post Secondary Institutions of BC. 

    Interested senior students are encouraged to bring their parents along to gather information and interact directly with reps from all 15 institutions attending.

    Aboriginal Transitions to Post-Secondary - Nov 15th

    Grade 10 & 11 Aboriginal students will be visited by our Aboriginal Education Workers with information about this opportunity on November 15th at TRU.  There will be workshops, activities, a tour of the University and a Student Panel to address any questions students may have regarding post-secondary education at TRU.  Lunch will be provided and busing has been arranged from the school.  Please RSVP by returning your signed consent form to Flora or Val by November 5th.

    Grade 9 Take your Child to Work Day - Nov 14

    Take Your Child to Work Day is on Wednesday, November 14th this year.  Permission forms must be returned to the Counselling office by Tuesday, November 13th.  A PDF of the consent form is attached for your convenience or a printed copy can be picked up in the office.

    Post Secondary Information Night - Nov 15

    Fifteen BC universities and colleges will be in attendance at a free public Post-Secondary Information Night event on Thursday, November 15th starting at 7pm at the Henry Grube Education Centre (245 Kitchener Cres).  Interested senior students are encouraged to bring their parents/guardians along to gather information and interact directly with reps from all 15 institutions attending.  PSI-BC is a collaborative group of BC post-secondary institutions acting as partners in supporting students and high school counsellors in BC high schools.  The group strives to assist students and parents in the search to find both the institution and the program that best fits their personal and career objectives.
